Why I do this work

I chose clinical practice because people’s wellbeing matters to me, and I want to put the principles of evidence-based psychology into practice. I know psychological distress can be deeply painful and disabling, even when it is not visible.

My aim is to understand your experience with care and work with you on goals that make sense in your life. You do not need to arrive with a diagnosis or a perfectly organised story.

Clinical practice, teaching and collaboration

I hold a master’s degree in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy from Centro de Psicoterapia Cognitiva. My experience spans more than 14 years across clinical practice and university teaching.

I currently teach at master’s level and serve as clinical director of Ziora Copilot. Previously, I coordinated psychological care at CIVE, Universidad La Salle, worked at Centros de Integración Juvenil and taught Psychology at UNAM.

How we work together

My practice integrates CBT, DBT-informed individual care and Schema Therapy. We agree on priorities, practise relevant skills and review how the work is helping.

I work primarily with adults, and also with adolescents aged 15 and over. You can choose English or Spanish for your sessions.

Beyond the consulting room

I also create psychology content through La Ciencia del Drama, making psychological ideas easier to understand in everyday language. Outside work, I enjoy series, science fiction, music and time with my family and dogs.
